Both Houses of Federal Parliament to Deliberate on Appropriation Bill Today
Today’s meetings of the House of Representatives and National Assembly will focus on discussions over the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill, with the Finance Minister responding to questions raised by lawmakers.

Both houses of Nepal’s Federal Parliament—the House of Representatives and the National Assembly—are scheduled to meet today, with the main agenda focusing on deliberations over the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill.
The House of Representatives will meet at 11:00 AM. At the beginning of the session, Speaker Dola Prasad Aryal will read out a letter received from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers regarding additional responsibilities assigned.
Following this, the House will proceed with discussions on the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill. Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle is scheduled to respond to the questions raised during the debate.
Similarly, the National Assembly will convene at 1:15 PM. At the start of the session, Chairperson Narayan Dahal will also read the letter regarding additional responsibilities from the Prime Minister’s Office.
The upper house will then continue its discussion on the Appropriation Bill, with the Finance Minister expected to address questions raised by lawmakers.
