The House of Representatives witnessed another round of protest on Tuesday as the opposition Labour Culture Party continued its demonstration inside parliament.

At the beginning of the session, lawmakers including party leader Harka Raj Rai stood up from their seats and displayed placards carrying various demands.

The protesting lawmakers used placards to draw the attention of the government and parliament while the proceedings were ongoing.

The party had also staged a similar protest during Monday’s session, marking the second consecutive day of disruption in the House of Representatives.
