House of Representatives Meeting Postponed Until Tuesday Amid Opposition Obstruction
The House of Representatives meeting has been postponed until Tuesday afternoon after opposition parties continued to obstruct parliamentary proceedings over remarks made by Prime Minister Balen Shah regarding Nepal-India border issues.

The House of Representatives meeting has been postponed until 1:00 PM on Tuesday following continued disruption by opposition parties.
According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Monday’s meeting was initially suspended for 15 minutes at around 1:15 PM. However, after discussions failed to resolve the deadlock, a formal notice was issued postponing the session until Tuesday.
Parliamentary proceedings have remained stalled after Prime Minister Balen Shah recently stated in Parliament that Nepal had also encroached upon Indian territory. The remarks sparked strong objections from opposition parties, which have been demanding that the Prime Minister clarify and correct his statement before the House.
Opposition lawmakers have continued their protests inside Parliament, preventing the regular agenda from moving forward.
Due to the ongoing obstruction, the House was unable to proceed with scheduled discussions and legislative business, forcing the Secretariat to defer the meeting.
The parliamentary deadlock has raised concerns over delays in key legislative and policy matters awaiting discussion in the House.
