11 Construction Companies Blacklisted, Barred from Government Procurement

The Public Procurement Monitoring Office under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has blacklisted 11 construction companies and suppliers.

Issuing a notice on Wednesday, the office stated that the decision was made based on recommendations received from various public entities.

According to the notice, the companies have been blacklisted in accordance with Section 63(1) of the Public Procurement Act, 2063, effective from the date of publication.

The blacklisted firms will not be allowed to participate in any government procurement processes, contracts, or public projects for the duration of the specified period.

The decision is aimed at ensuring discipline, accountability, and transparency in public procurement and contract execution across government projects.
