The 19th edition of the Durbarmarg Street Festival is set to take place on May 23, 2026, in Kathmandu, bringing energy and entertainment back to the city’s iconic Durbarmarg area.

The event is being organized by Mavericks Group and Arbitrary Events under the initiative of the Durbarmarg Development Board. This year’s edition will be held under the theme “Xtreme Saturday” with sponsorship from Xtreme Energy Drink.

The free-entry festival will feature a wide range of attractions including family entertainment, food stalls, basketball activities, e-sports competitions, cosplay, cultural performances, photo booths, and live DJ shows.

Popular Nepali artists and bands including John & The Locals, The Axe, Folktronics, and Salin Magar are scheduled to perform during the festival.

Organizers believe that this year’s “Xtreme Saturday” edition will become one of the most exciting and memorable editions of the Durbarmarg Street Festival, which has evolved into a major cultural and tourism attraction in Kathmandu.
