Aashutosh Energy Retains BBB- Credit Rating
ICRA Nepal has reaffirmed Aashutosh Energy Limited’s BBB- issuer rating indicating a moderate level of safety in meeting its financial obligations on time.

ICRA Nepal Limited has reaffirmed the [ICRANP-IR] BBB- issuer rating of Aashutosh Energy Limited (AEL), maintaining the company’s existing credit rating.
The BBB- rating indicates a moderate degree of safety in the timely servicing of AEL’s financial obligations. It reflects the overall creditworthiness of the company rather than the credit quality of any specific debt instrument.
On ICRA Nepal’s rating scale, BBB- sits one notch below BBB and one notch above BB+. The rating is within the investment-grade category and suggests that the company has an adequate capacity to meet its financial commitments, although it remains exposed to changes in business and economic conditions.
The reaffirmation means ICRA Nepal has not identified a deterioration significant enough to warrant a change in AEL’s issuer rating.
For investors and lenders, the rating provides an external assessment of Aashutosh Energy’s financial strength and ability to service its obligations, while the BBB- level indicates that credit risk remains moderate.
