APF Seizes 774 Electric Vehicles Suspected of Customs Evasion from Korala Border
The Armed Police Force (APF) Nepal has taken control of 774 electric vehicles that entered Nepal through the Korala border point in Mustang on suspicion of customs evasion

The Armed Police Force (APF) Nepal has seized 774 electric vehicles that allegedly entered the country through the Korala border point in Mustang under suspicion of customs irregularities.
According to APF spokesperson Bishnu Prasad Bhatta, the vehicles were taken under control overnight from various locations, including Jomsom in Mustang, Kusma in Parbat, and Hemja in Kaski.
To carry out the operation, security personnel from APF No. 33 Gulma Mustang, Myagdi Gulma, APF No. 25 Chandika Battalion in Parbat, and APF No. 24 Kalika Battalion in Kaski were mobilized.
In a related action, APF personnel also seized two additional vehicles from the Pasang Lhamu Highway in Nuwakot.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the brands or estimated value of the seized vehicles. Further investigation is underway to determine whether customs procedures were bypassed and to establish any potential violations of import regulations.
