Siddhartha Capital Limited has extended the application deadline for its mutual fund scheme “Siddhartha Equity Fund 2” until Jestha 4, 2083.

The scheme was initially opened for subscription on Baishakh 21 and was scheduled to close today, Baishakh 24. However, the deadline was extended after the issue failed to receive sufficient applications.

Under the scheme, a total of 10 crore unit shares are being issued. Out of this, 15 percent, equivalent to 1.5 crore units, has been allocated to the scheme manager Siddhartha Bank Limited. The remaining 8.5 crore units worth NPR 85 crores are being offered to the general public and institutional investors.

According to CDSC data, a total of 78,921 applicants have applied for 8,36,45,040 units worth approximately NPR 83.64 crores so far.

“Siddhartha Equity Fund 2” is a closed-end mutual fund scheme. Investors can apply for a minimum of 100 units and a maximum of 10 million units.
