Assets of PM Balen Shah and Ministers Made Public
The Office of the Prime Minister has disclosed the asset details of PM Balen Shah and cabinet ministers, revealing income sources, properties, and investments.

The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has publicly disclosed the asset details of Prime Minister Balen Shah and members of the cabinet.
According to the disclosed information, the Prime Minister’s spouse, Sabina Kafle, owns 190 tola of gold received through inheritance. The Prime Minister has also reported earnings of Rs. 14.6 million from social media activities. Additionally, properties under his parents’ names are located in Kathmandu, Dhanusha, and Mahottari.
Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle has declared ownership of four houses and apartments, along with bank savings of Rs. 19 million and 45 tola of gold. His primary income source is stated to be foreign employment, with investments in hydropower projects and a development bank.
Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has disclosed significant landholdings and investments, including over Rs. 43 million in the stock market and 89 tola of gold.
Other ministers have also reported their assets, including land, houses, bank balances, gold, silver, and investments across various sectors. The disclosures aim to enhance transparency and accountability within the government.
