Brazil and Morocco have booked their places in the knockout stage of the FIFA World Cup 2026 after winning their final Group C matches on Wednesday.
Brazil secured a comfortable 3–0 victory over Scotland at Miami Stadium to finish as Group C winners with seven points from three matches.
Star forward Vinicius Junior played a key role in Brazil’s triumph, scoring twice, while Matheus Cunha added another goal. Vinicius opened the scoring in the seventh minute before doubling Brazil’s lead in first-half stoppage time.
Cunha extended the advantage in the 60th minute, sealing a dominant win for the five-time world champions.
In the other Group C fixture at Atlanta Stadium, Morocco defeated Haiti 4–2 to secure qualification for the knockout rounds. Morocco also finished with seven points but advanced as group runners-up based on the head-to-head tiebreaker.
With the results, Scotland and Haiti were eliminated from the tournament after failing to progress beyond the group stage.
