Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydropower to Auction Unallotted Rights Shares From June 4
Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited is set to auction more than 474,000 unallotted rights shares starting June 4. Both individual and institutional investors will be eligible to apply at a minimum price of Rs. 100 per share.
Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited has announced the auction sale of its unallotted rights shares. The company will issue 474,696 units of unclaimed rights shares through a bidding process starting from June 4.
According to the company, both general public investors and institutional investors will be allowed to participate in the auction. Interested applicants can submit bids at a minimum price of Rs. 100 per share or above.
Investors must apply for a minimum of 100 shares, while applications can be submitted for up to the entire available quantity.
The bid application forms can be submitted at the office of NIC Asia Capital located in Thapathali, Kathmandu. In addition, applications will also be accepted through selected branches of NIC Asia Bank in Biratnagar, Birgunj, Pokhara, Butwal, Dhangadhi, Birendranagar, Nuwakot, Narayangadh, and Nepalgunj.
The deadline for submitting bids is June 12 during banking hours. The company expects the sale of the unallotted rights shares to further strengthen its capital structure and investor participation.
