Chirkhwa Hydropower Calls AGM to Approve 1:1 Rights Share Issuance
Chirkhwa Hydropower has scheduled its AGM for Poush 23 to endorse a 1:1 rights share proposal and authorize key operational and regulatory amendments.
Chirkhwa Hydropower Limited (CKHL) has called its 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Poush 23 (Wednesday) at Kundalini Royals, Jorpati, Kathmandu, starting at 10:00 AM.
The AGM will consider a special resolution to issue rights shares in a 1:1 ratio, equivalent to 100% of the company’s existing paid-up capital. The proposal aims to strengthen the company’s capital structure and support upcoming project investments.
Additional agenda items include authorizing the board to execute rights issuance procedures, amend the company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association, identify and invest in suitable hydropower projects, manage loan obligations, and appoint an auditor for the next fiscal year.
For AGM participation, the company has set Poush 13 as the book closure date. Shareholders whose names appear in the register by the end of Poush 12 will be eligible to attend the meeting.
