Citizens Bank Calls 20th Annual General Meeting, Proposes 4% Dividend
Citizens Bank will hold its 20th Annual General Meeting on Ashoj 28, with a proposal to distribute a total 4% dividend comprising 3.80% bonus shares and 0.20% cash dividend.

Citizens Bank Limited has called its 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM). According to the decision of the bank's Board of Directors, the AGM will be held on Ashoj 28 at Amrit Bhog in Dillibazar, Kathmandu, starting at 11:00 AM.
The AGM will seek approval for a total 4% dividend for shareholders for the fiscal year 2082/83. The proposed dividend consists of 3.80% bonus shares and 0.20% cash dividend for tax purposes.
The meeting will also approve an increase in the bank's issued and paid-up capital following the distribution of bonus shares. Shareholders will also be asked to authorize the Board of Directors to make necessary amendments to the memorandum and other corporate documents if required by regulatory authorities.
The AGM will approve the bank's annual report and auditor's report for the last fiscal year. It will also approve the consolidated financial statements incorporating the financial statements of the bank's subsidiary companies.
In addition, the meeting will consider the appointment of an auditor for fiscal year 2083/84 and determine the auditor's remuneration.
Citizens Bank has fixed Ashoj 19 as the book closure date for the dividend and AGM purposes. Therefore, shareholders holding the bank's shares before the book closure date will be eligible to receive the proposed dividend and participate in the AGM.
