City Express Waives Fees on Remittances to Nepal
City Express has waived service fees on remittances sent to Nepal from multiple countries to support families affected by floods and landslides.

City Express has announced a complete waiver of service fees on remittances sent to Nepal from several countries, aiming to make it easier for Nepalis living abroad to provide financial support to families affected by the recent floods and landslides.
The company said the special facility has been in effect since the floods began and will continue until further notice. The initiative is intended to help overseas Nepalis send money to their families quickly and ensure that the full amount reaches recipients in Nepal.
Under the facility, remittance transfers to Nepal from Gulf countries, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman, will be free of service charges.
The fee waiver also applies to remittances sent from Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and Australia. Nepalis residing in several European countries, including the United Kingdom, Romania, Portugal, Malta, Denmark, Croatia, Sweden, Norway, Germany and France, can also use the free remittance facility.
Similarly, remittances sent to Nepal from New Zealand will not incur service charges.
City Express said the free remittance facility is being provided through City Express and its international remittance channels operating across different countries.
The company expects the initiative to make it easier for Nepalis abroad to send financial assistance to families and relatives affected by floods and landslides, particularly during the ongoing relief and recovery efforts.
