DDC Increases Prices of Milk, Curd, Ghee and Paneer Amid Rising Demand
State-owned Dairy Development Corporation (DDC) has raised the prices of several dairy products, including milk, curd, ghee, and paneer, citing increased market demand. The revised prices have come into effect immediately.

The government-owned Dairy Development Corporation (DDC) has increased the prices of several dairy products, citing growing demand in the market.
According to DDC, the price of a half-liter packet of milk has been raised from Rs 49 to Rs 50. The price of curd has also been revised upward, with one liter now costing Rs 160, up from Rs 150.
Similarly, the price of a 200-gram cup of curd has increased from Rs 40 to Rs 45, while the price of a half-liter packaged curd has risen from Rs 80 to Rs 85.
DDC has also increased the price of ghee by Rs 100 per liter, bringing the new rate to Rs 1,250 per liter. Likewise, the price of paneer has been raised from Rs 825 per kilogram to Rs 875 per kilogram.
The corporation stated that the price adjustment was necessary due to rising demand for dairy products and changing market conditions.
