Dipchandra Regmi Promoted to Deputy CEO of Global IME Bank
Dipchandra Regmi has been promoted to Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) of Global IME Bank.

Dipchandra Regmi has been promoted to Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) of Global IME Bank. The bank’s Board of Directors decided to promote Regmi to the position during its meeting held on Tuesday.
Regmi was previously serving as an Assistant Chief Executive Officer at the bank. He began his banking career at Standard Chartered Bank Nepal in 2007 and joined Global IME Bank in 2009. During his tenure, he has handled several senior responsibilities, including Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Chief Credit Officer, and Head of Trade Finance.
Regmi also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Global IME Capital Limited, a subsidiary of Global IME Bank. He holds an MBA in Business Administration from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, and Copenhagen Business School, Denmark.
Global IME Bank has received several national and international recognitions for its technology-driven services and customer experience. These include Bank of the Year 2014, Best Internet Bank 2016, and Best Bank Nepal awards consecutively in 2024, 2025, and 2026. The bank has also received Euromoney Awards for Excellence in 2022, 2024, and 2025, along with Best Bank ESG Nepal 2024 and Best Employer awards.
Global IME Bank is the first private-sector commercial bank in Nepal to establish its network across all 77 districts. The bank currently operates 341 branches, 366 ATMs, 147 branchless banking centers, 69 extension and revenue collection counters, and three overseas representative offices.
