Dr. Swarnim Wagle has been elected unopposed as the Vice President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) after the only other male candidate, Viraj Bhakta Shrestha, withdrew his candidacy.

Shrestha, who currently serves as Nepal's Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, stepped aside before the election, clearing the way for Wagle's uncontested victory.

Earlier, party leader Rabi Lamichhane was also elected unopposed as the party's president. According to the RSP's organizational structure, the party elects one president, two vice presidents, one general secretary, and three joint general secretaries.

The party has also announced the names of 99 elected Central Committee members following its internal election process. The remaining 51 Central Committee members will be nominated by President Rabi Lamichhane in accordance with the party's constitution.

The leadership selection marks another key milestone for the Rastriya Swatantra Party as it strengthens its organizational structure following its national convention.
