Everest Bank Sets Book Closure for 15% Dividend
Everest Bank has called its 32nd AGM for Ashwin 14, 2083 and set Ashwin 1 as the book closure date for its proposed 15% dividend, comprising 5% bonus shares and 10% cash dividend.

Everest Bank Limited (EBL) has announced the date for its 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) and book closure for its proposed dividend for FY2082/83.
The bank will hold its 32nd AGM on Ashwin 14, 2083, at Amrapali Banquet, Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu, starting at 10:00 AM.
Among the key agendas of the AGM is approval of the bank's proposed 15% dividend for FY2082/83. The dividend comprises 5% bonus shares and 10% cash dividend for tax purposes.
The decision to distribute the dividend was made at the bank's 402nd Board of Directors meeting held on Bhadra 11. Everest Bank currently has a paid-up capital of Rs. 13.72 billion.
The AGM will also seek approval for the auditor's report, profit and loss statement, financial statements and cash flow statement for FY2082/83. Shareholders will also appoint an auditor for FY2083/84.
Everest Bank has set Ashwin 1, 2083 as the book closure date. Therefore, shareholders who hold EBL shares before the book closure date will be eligible to receive the proposed dividend and participate in the AGM.
The proposed dividend will be distributed after approval by the AGM and completion of the required regulatory procedures.
