Finance Minister Wagle Challenges Critics to Prove EV Policy Leak Allegations
Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has firmly rejected allegations that he leaked information related to electric vehicle policies.

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has challenged his critics to provide concrete evidence supporting allegations that he leaked confidential information related to electric vehicle (EV) policies.
Speaking at a meeting of the Public Accounts Committee in Parliament, Dr. Wagle categorically rejected the accusations, describing them as entirely baseless and politically motivated.
During the meeting, the Finance Minister expressed disappointment over what he described as deliberate attempts to tarnish his reputation and credibility. He stated that he has built his public image on integrity and ethical conduct and that unfounded allegations are being used to undermine that reputation.
Dr. Wagle further stressed that he has never engaged in dishonest practices and challenged anyone to prove otherwise. He declared that if even a small act of corruption or misconduct on his part could be substantiated, he would immediately resign from his ministerial post, leave politics, and withdraw from public life altogether.
His remarks come amid growing political debate surrounding policy decisions and allegations related to the electric vehicle sector.
