Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has resumed the nationwide sale and distribution of full-capacity 14.2 kg LPG cylinders following a significant improvement in supply from the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).

Earlier, the corporation had instructed LPG bottling industries to distribute 7.1 kg half-filled cylinders as a temporary measure to manage high demand and supply constraints. With supply conditions now improving, the regular distribution of full-capacity cylinders has been restored.

According to NOC, the retail price of a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder has been fixed at Rs 2,060, effective nationwide.

The corporation also noted that 7.1 kg cylinders may still remain available in the market during the transition period, as they have not yet been completely phased out.

NOC expects the improved supply to ease shortages and ensure consumers have uninterrupted access to full-capacity cooking gas cylinders across the country.
