Gagan Thapa is set to travel to Chitwan to attend the opening ceremony of the first general convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party.

According to his secretariat, Thapa will participate in the convention’s inauguration program. Earlier, he had extended his best wishes to the party through social media.

In his message, Thapa described the convention as a historic opportunity for RSP to strengthen its ideology, organizational structure, and policy direction while becoming a more mature, responsible, and forward-looking political force.

He also expressed hope that the convention would help the party further embrace democratic values, safeguard constitutional rights, and enhance its accountability and ideological responsibility.

The first national convention of RSP is being held in Chitwan with the participation of delegates from across the country and representatives from various political parties.
