Gandaki Province has announced plans to construct a glass bridge at Rupa Lake to further attract tourists and enhance visitor experiences.

The provincial government has also introduced a tourism promotion program aiming to double international tourist arrivals within the next five years.

Under the “One District, One Tourist Destination” policy, the province will promote local culture, homestays, and indigenous products.

Additionally, Rs 50 million has been allocated for the beautification of Fewa Lake. These announcements were made by Gandaki Province Finance Minister Jit Bahadur Sherchan while presenting the upcoming fiscal year budget.
