Gold and silver prices declined in the Nepali market on Friday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.

The price of fine gold fell by Rs 3,100 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs 282,100 per tola. On Thursday, gold was traded at Rs 285,200 per tola.

Silver prices also moved lower. The price of silver declined by Rs 125 per tola to Rs 4,200 per tola, compared to Rs 4,325 per tola on the previous trading day.

Domestic precious metal prices generally follow movements in the international gold market, exchange rate fluctuations, and changes in investor demand for safe-haven assets.
