The prices of gold and silver in the local market have declined on Thursday following recent volatility. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, both metals recorded a drop compared to Wednesday.
Gold, which was traded at Rs. 294,500 per tola on Wednesday, decreased by Rs. 1,800 to reach Rs. 292,700 per tola on Thursday.
Similarly, silver prices also declined. The price dropped by Rs. 105 per tola, from Rs. 4,915 on Wednesday to Rs. 4,810 on Thursday.
In the international market, gold is currently priced at USD 4,567 per ounce, while silver stands at USD 72 per ounce, showing slight pressure globally.
