Gold and Silver Prices Rise in Nepal; Gold Trades at Rs 287,100 Per Tola

Gold and silver prices have increased in the local market today. Compared to last Friday, the price of gold has increased by Rs 1,600 per tola, while silver prices have risen by Rs 60 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has been fixed at Rs 287,100 per tola today. Similarly, the price of silver has been set at Rs 4,410 per tola.

Last Friday, hallmark gold was traded at Rs 285,500 per tola, while silver was traded at Rs 4,350 per tola. Earlier on Thursday, gold was traded at Rs 291,300 per tola and silver at Rs 4,505 per tola.

Internationally, gold and silver prices remain elevated. According to international market reports, gold is trading around $4,052 per ounce, while silver is trading near $58 per ounce.

Global market movements, fluctuations in the US dollar, and increased demand for gold as a safe-haven asset continue to influence bullion prices. These international trends are also impacting Nepal’s domestic gold and silver market.
