Gold and silver prices have witnessed a moderate increase in the local market today. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold reached Rs 297,100 per tola, marking a rise of Rs 200 compared to the previous trading day. On Friday, gold was traded at Rs 296,900 per tola.

Similarly, silver prices also increased by Rs 15 per tola, reaching Rs 4,975. Previously, silver was traded at Rs 4,960 per tola.

Market experts attribute the fluctuation in local prices to movements in the international bullion market.
