Gold Jumps by Rs. 14,400 per Tola as Silver Also Gains in Nepali Market
Gold and silver prices continued their upward momentum in Nepal on Wednesday, with gold rising by Rs. 14,400 per tola and silver gaining Rs. 265 per tola.

Gold and silver prices surged in the domestic bullion market on Wednesday, reflecting continued strength in precious metal prices.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold increased by Rs. 14,400 per tola to reach Rs. 304,700 per tola. The Nepali gold market has recently experienced high volatility, with fine gold having earlier touched a historic peak of Rs. 339,300 per tola on January 29, 2026.
Tejabi gold also witnessed a similar rise. Its price climbed by Rs. 14,400 per tola, reaching Rs. 304,000 per tola from the previous Rs. 289,600 per tola.
Silver prices followed the upward trend as well. The price of silver increased by Rs. 265 per tola to settle at Rs. 5,600 per tola, compared to Rs. 5,335 per tola in the previous trading session.
The continued rise in gold and silver prices indicates strong demand and sustained momentum in the domestic bullion market.
