Gold Jumps Rs 3,300 Per Tola
Gold prices rose by Rs 3,300 per tola to Rs 316,700 in Nepal while Tejabi gold reached Rs 316,000 and silver increased by Rs 130 to Rs 4,985.
Gold prices have surged in Nepal's domestic market, with the price of fine gold increasing by Rs 3,300 per tola on Friday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has reached Rs 316,700 per tola, up from Rs 313,400 per tola on the previous trading day.
The price of Tejabi gold has also increased by Rs 3,300 per tola. It now stands at Rs 316,000 per tola, compared with Rs 312,700 previously.
Silver prices have moved in the same direction, rising by Rs 130 per tola. Silver now costs Rs 4,985 per tola, up from Rs 4,855 per tola on the previous day.
The latest increase has pushed the domestic price of fine gold above the Rs 316,000 per tola level, while silver has also continued its upward movement.
