Gold prices in Nepal witnessed a sharp decline on Wednesday, with hallmark gold falling by Rs. 10,100 per tola, while silver prices also dropped by Rs. 185 per tola.

Gold Price Drops by Rs. 10,100 per Tola, Silver Also Declines

Gold prices in the domestic market fell significantly on Wednesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA).

The price of hallmark gold decreased by Rs. 10,100 per tola, bringing the new rate down to Rs. 291,800 per tola from the previous day's Rs. 301,900 per tola.

Similarly, the price of Tejabi gold also declined by Rs. 10,100 per tola and is now being traded at Rs. 291,100 per tola, compared to Rs. 301,200 per tola recorded a day earlier.

Silver prices also moved lower in the domestic market. The price of silver fell by Rs. 185 per tola, reaching Rs. 4,740 per tola from the previous rate of Rs. 4,925 per tola.

The decline in precious metal prices comes amid fluctuations in the international market, affecting domestic bullion rates.
