Gold Price Drops by Rs 1,600 Per Tola, Falls to Rs 287,100

Gold prices in Nepal fell on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

The price of hallmark gold decreased by Rs 1,600 per tola from the previous trading session, bringing the market rate down from Rs 288,700 to Rs 287,100 per tola.

The federation has fixed the price of 10 grams of gold at Rs 246,140.

Silver prices also declined sharply. The price of silver fell by Rs 140 per tola and is currently trading at Rs 4,590 per tola. The price of 10 grams of silver has been set at Rs 3,935.

Traders attribute the price movement to fluctuations in the international precious metals market, which continue to influence domestic bullion prices.
