Gold Price Drops by Rs 2,200 Per Tola in Nepal - What Is the New Rate?

The local bullion market in Nepal witnessed a decline in precious metal prices today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has decreased by Rs 2,200 per tola, while silver has dropped by Rs 75 per tola.

With the latest update, hallmark gold is being traded at Rs 296,500 per tola, while silver is priced at Rs 4,945 per tola.

In the previous trading session (Thursday), gold was priced at Rs 298,700 per tola and silver at Rs 5,020 per tola. A day earlier, on Wednesday, gold had reached Rs 305,000 per tola and silver was traded at Rs 5,130 per tola.

On the international market, gold is currently trading at around USD 4,705 per ounce, while silver is priced at USD 76 per ounce, according to international media reports.
