Gold and silver prices declined in the local market on Friday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold dropped by Rs. 3,000 per tola, settling at Rs. 299,800.

On the previous trading day, gold was priced at Rs. 302,800 per tola, while it stood at Rs. 296,900 per tola last Friday.

Similarly, silver prices also decreased. The price of silver fell by Rs. 120 per tola to Rs. 5,130, compared to Rs. 5,250 on the previous day. Last Friday, silver was traded at Rs. 4,960 per tola.

Market analysts attribute these fluctuations to changes in the international market, which continue to influence local precious metal prices.
