Nepal’s gold market witnessed a notable pullback today, with fine gold prices dropping by Rs. 1,100 per tola. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is currently trading at Rs. 198,100 per tola, down from Rs. 199,200 the previous day.

Tejabi gold followed a similar trend, falling by Rs. 1,100 to Rs. 197,400 per tola, compared to its earlier price of Rs. 198,500.

This decline comes just days after August 8, 2025, when fine gold hit a record high of Rs. 199,400 per tola.

Silver prices also weakened, dropping by Rs. 15 per tola to Rs. 2,315, from Rs. 2,330 earlier.

Market analysts attribute the drop to international price corrections and fluctuations in the US dollar, which often influence Nepal’s bullion market.
