Gold Price Jumps Rs 4,700 Per Tola, Silver Gains Rs 145 in Nepal

Gold and silver prices surged in the Nepali market on Sunday, with hallmark gold rising by Rs 4,700 per tola and silver increasing by Rs 145, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.

Gold and silver prices recorded a sharp increase in the Nepali market on the first trading day of the week, reflecting continued fluctuations in precious metal prices.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of hallmark gold rose by Rs 4,700 per tola on Sunday, taking it to Rs 283,800 per tola. On the previous trading day, hallmark gold was traded at Rs 279,100 per tola.

Silver prices also moved higher, increasing by Rs 145 per tola to reach Rs 4,325 per tola, compared to Rs 4,180 per tola recorded on Saturday.

The latest increase comes amid ongoing movements in international precious metals markets, which continue to influence domestic gold and silver prices in Nepal.
