Gold prices in the local market have increased significantly today. The price of gold rose by Rs. 1,600 per tola, reaching Rs. 301,300 compared to Rs. 299,700 the previous day.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of Tejabi gold also increased by Rs. 1,600, reaching Rs. 300,600 per tola from Rs. 299,000 a day earlier.

In contrast, silver prices moved in the opposite direction. The price of silver decreased by Rs. 30 per tola, falling to Rs. 5,160 from Rs. 5,190 on the previous day.
