Gold Prices Jump by Rs. 1,800 per Tola in Nepal; Silver Prices Also Rise

Gold prices in the Nepali market witnessed another increase on Thursday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold rose by Rs. 1,800 per tola, reaching Rs. 293,800 per tola. On the previous trading day, fine gold was traded at Rs. 292,000 per tola.

Similarly, the price of Tejabi gold also increased by Rs. 1,800 per tola, taking the rate to Rs. 293,100 per tola from the previous Rs. 291,300 per tola.

Silver prices also followed the upward trend. The price of silver increased by Rs. 90 per tola, reaching Rs. 5,050 per tola, compared to Rs. 4,960 per tola on the previous day.

Traders say fluctuations in the international precious metals market continue to influence domestic gold and silver prices in Nepal.
