After two consecutive days of sharp decline, gold prices in Nepal rose on Friday. The price of hallmark gold, which had dropped by Rs. 10,100 on Wednesday and Rs. 5,100 on Thursday per tola, increased by Rs. 5,300 today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, hallmark gold is priced at Rs. 292,000 per tola today.
Similarly, silver prices also increased. Silver, which was traded at Rs. 4,650 per tola on Thursday, rose to Rs. 4,840 per tola on Friday.
Market analysts attribute the fluctuations to global market trends, USD exchange rate movements, and supply-demand imbalance in the domestic bullion market.
