Gold prices in Nepal increased on Thursday, while silver prices moved lower, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.

The price of fine gold rose by Rs 400 per tola, reaching Rs 285,200 per tola. On the previous trading day (Wednesday), gold was traded at Rs 284,800 per tola.

Meanwhile, silver prices declined by Rs 90 per tola, bringing the market price down to Rs 4,325 per tola from Rs 4,415 per tola recorded on Wednesday.

Domestic precious metal prices generally follow movements in the international bullion market, with global gold prices, exchange rate fluctuations, and broader economic conditions influencing daily price adjustments in Nepal.
