Gold Prices Surge by Rs. 1,300 Per Tola, Silver Also Climbs

Gold prices in the Nepali market continued their upward trend on Friday, with hallmark gold rising by Rs. 1,300 per tola to reach Rs. 299,900 per tola. Silver prices also increased significantly.

Gold Prices Surge by Rs. 1,300 Per Tola, Silver Also Climbs

Gold prices in the Nepali market increased again on Friday, continuing the recent upward trend. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), hallmark gold rose by Rs. 1,300 per tola, reaching Rs. 299,900 per tola.

Previously, hallmark gold was traded at Rs. 298,600 per tola. Traders say the rise in international gold prices has also impacted the domestic market.

Similarly, Tejabi gold prices also increased by Rs. 1,300 per tola, reaching Rs. 299,200 per tola compared to Rs. 297,900 per tola on the previous trading day.

Silver prices also followed the upward trend. The price of silver increased by Rs. 120 per tola to Rs. 5,275 per tola from the previous rate of Rs. 5,155 per tola.

The continuous rise in precious metal prices has started affecting both consumers and jewelry traders in the market.
