Government Blacklists 10 Construction Companies, Bars Them from Public Procurement
The Government of Nepal has blacklisted 10 construction companies, prohibiting them from participating in public procurement and government contract bidding for periods ranging from one to three years.

The Government of Nepal has blacklisted 10 construction companies under the Public Procurement Act, 2007 (2063 BS), barring them from participating in public procurement processes for periods ranging from one to three years.
The decision was made by the Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in accordance with Section 63(1) of the Public Procurement Act.
During the blacklist period, the affected companies will not be allowed to participate in government tenders, secure public contracts, or engage in procurement activities with public entities.
Among the blacklisted firms, Mahadev Khimti Nirman Sewa Pvt. Ltd., owned by former Federation of Contractors' Associations of Nepal (FCAN) President Rabi Singh, has been suspended for three years. Likewise, Pappu–Mahadev JV, a joint venture between Mahadev Khimti Nirman Sewa and Pappu Construction Pvt. Ltd., has also been blacklisted for three years based on the recommendation of the Postal Highway Directorate, Itahari.
Similarly, Shrestha Construction Company (Hetauda) Pvt. Ltd. has received a three-year ban, while Global Drugs Suppliers (Dhangadhi) has been blacklisted for one year following a recommendation from Triveni Municipality in Bajura.
Other companies placed on the blacklist include Bharat–Siddhasai JV (1 year and 6 months), Lumbini Motors and Pump Industries (1 year), Hira Nepali Nirman Sewa, Jumla (2 years), Mayumi Construction (1 year), and Shubham Nirman Sewa, Gorkha (2 years).
According to the PPMO, all blacklisted companies will remain ineligible to participate in any government procurement process until their respective suspension periods expire.
