Government Forms Special Committee to Investigate Former Minister Ramesh Adhikari
The government has formed a three-member investigation committee to examine public concerns and allegations related to former minister Ramesh Adhikari.
The government has formed a special probe committee to investigate various public concerns surrounding former Minister for Urban Development Ramesh Adhikari.
A recent Cabinet meeting decided to form the three-member committee under the coordination of former High Court judge Hariprasad Neupane. The committee also includes Deputy Auditor General Office official Binod Bhattarai and Deputy Attorney Sabina Khadka as members.
According to the government, the committee has been tasked with conducting a factual study of decisions made during Adhikari’s tenure, along with issues and allegations raised publicly regarding administrative procedures and governance.
The committee has been directed to submit its report along with recommendations to the government within 15 days. The investigation process was initiated following growing public debate and controversy surrounding the former minister in recent weeks.
