Green Ply Nepal to Issue 1.64 Million IPO Shares to the General Public

Green Ply Nepal, a plywood manufacturing company operating in Nepal, is preparing to launch its Initial Public Offering (IPO) for the general public.
To proceed with the IPO issuance process, the company converted itself from a private limited company into a public limited company on Ashadh 31.
The company plans to issue 1.64 million ordinary shares, equivalent to 20% of its issued capital, to the general public. To approve the IPO-related proposal, the company has called a special general meeting on Shrawan 22.
Green Ply Nepal reported growth in sales during the fiscal year 2081/82. The company stated that its sales increased by 18.96%, reaching approximately Rs 47.5 crore during the period.
The company has been operating profitably for the past five years. According to Green Ply Nepal, around 30% of its plywood production is consumed in Nepal, while more than 70% is exported to India.
Following the IPO issuance, the company aims to raise capital from the public and utilize the funds for business expansion, production capacity enhancement, and future growth.
