Nepal's Health Insurance Board has disbursed more than Rs 25.48 billion in approved health insurance claims through Poush of the fiscal year 2082/83. The board stated that payments for approved claims received through Ashoj, Kartik, and Mangsir had already been completed.

Under its latest decision, the board released an additional Rs 2.04 billion for claims approved during Poush, transferring the amount directly to the bank accounts of participating healthcare providers. The board said all approved claims through Poush have now been settled and reaffirmed its commitment to making claim payments in a regular, transparent, and phased manner.
