Himalayan Bank Appoints Baikuntha Aryal as Chairman
Himalayan Bank has appointed Baikuntha Aryal as chairman of its Board of Directors following the resignation of Prachanda Bahadur Shrestha.
Himalayan Bank Limited has appointed Baikuntha Aryal as chairman of its Board of Directors, effective from Shrawan 14 (July 29).
The decision was taken at the bank’s 405th Board meeting, which accepted the resignation of former chairman Prachanda Bahadur Shrestha.
Aryal, who represents the bank’s promoter shareholder group and serves as a board member, was unanimously elected as the new chairman.
The bank has formally notified the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) of Aryal’s appointment.
The leadership change comes as Himalayan Bank continues to operate under a promoter-led board structure, with Aryal assuming the chairmanship following Shrestha’s resignation.
