Himalayan Power Partner Closing 50% Rights Share Issue Today

Himalayan Power Partner Limited is closing its 50 percent rights share offering today. The company had opened the issue to existing shareholders from 17th Baishakh 2083, and the subscription period ends today, 6th Jestha 2083.

Under the offering, the company is issuing 15,981,255 units of rights shares in the ratio of 1:0.50, meaning shareholders can apply for 50 additional shares for every 100 shares held. The total issue size is worth approximately Rs. 53.27 crores.

Currently, the company’s paid-up capital stands at Rs. 1.06 Arba. After the adjustment of the proposed rights shares, the paid-up capital will increase to approximately Rs. 1.59 Arba.

According to CDSC data, a total of 45,234 applicants have applied for 3,015,446 units of rights shares worth around Rs. 30.15 crores so far.

Global IME Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for the rights offering.

The book closure date for the rights issue was set on 10th Chaitra 2082. Therefore, only shareholders who held shares before that date are eligible to apply for the rights shares.
