Home Minister Sudhan Gurung Holds Over Rs. 36.1 Million in Share Investments

The asset disclosure published by the government shows that Home Minister Sudhan Gurung holds significant investments in Nepal’s stock market.

According to the details, Gurung has total share investments worth Rs. 36.156 million. Of this, around Rs. 27.456 million has been invested in the secondary market through various listed companies.

He also holds 30,000 units of shares in Hope Holdings Pvt. Ltd., valued at approximately Rs. 3 million, and 57,000 units in Lagum Premium Apartments Pvt. Ltd., worth around Rs. 5.7 million.

In addition to his share investments, Gurung has more than Rs. 6.1 million in cash deposits across multiple banks. His bank balances include savings in Laxmi Sunrise Bank, Nabil Bank, and Sanima Bank.

The disclosure further reveals that he owns 89 tola of gold and 6 kilograms of silver, along with land holdings in Dhankuta, Chitwan, and Gorkha.

The asset details highlight the minister’s diversified investment portfolio, with a strong focus on the stock market.
