House of Representatives Meeting Delayed Amid Opposition Obstruction
Proceedings of Nepal’s House of Representatives remain uncertain as opposition parties continue to demand an apology from Prime Minister Balendra Shah over remarks made during Sunday's parliamentary session.

The meeting of Nepal’s House of Representatives remains stalled as opposition parties continue their protest over recent remarks made by Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
Opposition lawmakers have insisted that the Prime Minister apologize for statements he made in Parliament on Sunday regarding Nepal’s border issues. The parties have maintained their obstruction, preventing the House from moving forward with its scheduled agenda.
As a result of the deadlock, two parliamentary meetings held on Monday were adjourned without entering formal business.
Efforts by Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal to facilitate consensus among major political parties have so far failed to produce an agreement.
Although the House meeting was scheduled for 1:00 PM on Tuesday, uncertainty continues over whether proceedings will begin as planned.
Political observers note that the ongoing dispute could further delay parliamentary discussions on key legislative and policy matters if consensus is not reached soon.
