The ongoing general convention of the ruling RSP has once again affected the parliamentary schedule, leading to another postponement of the House of Representatives meeting.

The session, which was scheduled for Friday at 1:00 PM, has now been rescheduled to Saturday at 11:00 AM, according to a notice issued by the Parliament Secretariat.

This follows an earlier postponement, where Thursday's meeting scheduled for 11:00 AM had already been moved to Friday afternoon. In its latest notice, the Secretariat stated that the meeting could not be convened as scheduled due to special circumstances.

The parliamentary calendar had previously been adjusted from Ashadh 5 to Ashadh 11 to accommodate the RSP's general convention. Although the convention was originally planned for Ashadh 7–9, it has continued beyond its scheduled timeline and remains ongoing as of Ashadh 12.

The extended convention has consequently delayed the regular proceedings of the House of Representatives. The next parliamentary meeting is now expected to convene on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
