Interpol Rejects Red Notice Request Against Deuba Couple, Seeks Additional Documents
Interpol has declined to issue a red notice against former PM Sher Bahadur Deuba and Arzu Rana Deuba, citing insufficient documentation.

Interpol has refused to issue a red notice against former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and his wife, former Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba, in connection with a money laundering investigation.
Following an arrest warrant issued by the Kathmandu District Court on Chaitra 24, 2082, the Department of Money Laundering Investigation had requested Interpol through Nepal Police to issue a red notice.
However, Interpol rejected the request, stating that the documentation and supporting evidence were insufficient. It has asked for additional materials to proceed further.
Reports suggest that the Deuba couple is currently in Hong Kong. They had reportedly traveled abroad for treatment after an attack on their residence during the Gen-Z protests earlier.
