Iran Claims Seven Soldiers Killed in Alleged U.S. Missile Strike on Military Base
Iran claims that seven soldiers were killed and several others injured after an alleged U.S. missile strike targeted a military base in Bampur, Sistan and Baluchestan Province.

Iran has claimed that seven soldiers were killed in an alleged U.S. missile strike targeting a military base in Bampur, Sistan and Baluchestan Province. Iranian military officials also said several other personnel were injured in the attack and are receiving medical treatment.
According to the Iranian Army's Public Relations Department, the alleged strike took place on Wednesday morning when the U.S. military reportedly fired around 13 missiles at the residential section of an Iranian Army barracks in Bampur. Iranian authorities stated that the attack caused significant damage to the military facility.
Iranian state media reported that the victims were members of the 388th Brigade based in Iranshahr. The casualties included both professional military personnel and conscripted soldiers serving under Iran's mandatory military service system. Injured personnel have been admitted to hospitals for treatment.
Earlier, Iranian media had reported explosions in several coastal areas, including Bampur, near the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, raising concerns about heightened military activity in the region.
However, U.S. officials have not issued an immediate response to Iran's allegations, and the claims have not been independently verified. The incident is expected to add further tension to the already strained security situation between the two countries.
